The old controller for my winch got pretty beat up and kept malfunctioning. Saw this and just had to get it. I liked the fact it came with a new plug for mounting which I wanted to do. I wanted to move it to under the hood. So a little bit of drilling and wiring and it was ready to go. Wire seems OK for gauge but would have preferred something a bit larger. Nice that it has the rubber cap if you remove it, which i don't.I wanted this to stay stored under the hood so it was easy to access when winching heavy objects that you need to watch and maybe don't want to be in the path of the rope if it breaks.It is easy to hold in the hand and the switch is nice and crisp and easy to work with your thumb. Very well made and will hold up to abuse. A good addition to my UTV.

This winch control handle is well built - made out of decent quality plastic. The controls are smooth and works well. Had to modify the wiring to make it work with unit but overall great product.
