I ordered four of these clamps and broke two of them within days of receiving my order. They snap and break if too much pressure is applied. Might be good for simply holding things but not recommend if you actually need to clamp something with any appreciable pressure.

Immediately upon opening the package I tried the clamp and the plastic handle on the ratcheting side broke off. I tried the second one and the same thing happened. Both clamps are all but useless 5 minutes out of the box.

I bought a set of these in August and one of the clamps is already broken. I might have used them four or five times before the handle broke. I wasn't even squeezing that hard and it snapped. I should have known not to buy anything with a plastic handle. Buyer beware.Update: I contacted Wen customer service and they did nothing, I get the feeling they do not care.Edit: Customer service finally got back to me and sent me a new pair of clamps. I guess they are short-handed like everyone else.You still need to be aware of how hard you squeeze them.

I bought two sets of these for clamping glued surfaces. One failed very soon after purchase and Amazon replaced it quickly. Now a 2nd one has failed outside the replacement window. The action handle needs to be metal or 100% solid resin.
