Purchased this for my 28'x24' (672 Square Feet) woodshop/garage. Hung it with the provided hooks from the ceiling next to an outlet. The unit is quite quiet during operation unless you have it running on High. Even then it's not obtrusive at all.The supplied remote control worked with no issues. With my 10' ceilings I can JUST reach the buttons but the remote is a nice convenience. It works from anywhere within the garage.I was cutting 3/4" ply on the table saw for 15 minutes with this running and it made a drastic difference in air quality. Unfortunately I don't have my dust collection running yet so this was able to clear the dust out of the air as I was cutting. After a while I realized the air was dusty and the timer had finished on the filter. After turning it back on the air was clear within a couple of minutes.This has made a MASSIVE difference in my shop for air quality.

Of course it makes a noise but it is a well built unit and filters are easy to replace. Very good at trapping sawdust and remote control works well.

Replacement filters are kinda expensive but that's the same for all those devices regardless of brands.That aside is a great unit, exactly what I was looking for

Does what it says it does, a little noisy, but it is a large fan.
