These install securely in the hinge (pin). Particularly useful to stop a door from opening fully (accidentally, if you force it, I could see some damage) where it might hit something before hitting the wall. In my case, I used the first one to prevent the door from hitting a toilet. My second prevents the door from hitting a portable coat rack.There are a couple more doors where I am considering using these, so the 4 pack turns out to be a great value.You normally only use one per door, but nothing preventing you from adding one to each hinge, if you want.
