Three Typical Application Methods
WiFi Bridge
Bridge mode can convert WiFi to RJ45 network, or RJ45 to WiFi, use VAP11S network cable to insert into the network port of the computer, and connect the computer to the Internet. The bridging function can realize the connection of wired devices to WiFi, which largely solves the trouble of difficult wiring of wired devices.
WiFi Router
There are two types of router modes
1. Wireless AP, plug and play, just plug the VAP11S network cable into the optical cat interface/LAN port of the router, and other wireless devices can connect to the WiFi of VAP11S to access the Internet.
2. Traditional Router, which can be used across network segments (the default is wireless AP mode, which requires manual switching)
WiFi Repeater
Repeater mode can expand the existing network, at the edge of the original WiFi hotspot signal coverage, the weak WiFi signal can be received, and then amplified to the normal safe strength. After optimization and error correction processing, after optimization and error correction processing, in the The signal coverage distance is doubled when it is safe.

Pay Attention
- If the application is AC managed AP, GoPro camera, Cisco AP, Hikvision surveillance system, select "MAC layer transparent"；
- When using an Apple or Huawei mobile phone as the source hotspot, you need to select "SSID and password authentication mode" during configuration；
- If you encounter frequent disconnection or other problems during use, you may be able to solve the problem by upgrading the software online!

ＦＡ用で購入しました。１００Ｖが必要ないので 制御盤の２４Ｖで 使用できるのは助かります。Ｗｉｎ１１のセキュリティのせいか 接続当初は 安定して動作しません。1時間ほど ほっておくと 安定接続できるようです。この点が マイナスです。

Initially I got this transmitter as a repeater for an outdoor camera. Wanted to run it with a portable powerbank and a 5W solar panel but I realized it is just a bit too power hungry for that usage. I got the little brother of that model for that and am currently using this one as a receiver for my tower gaming PC. Works as expected and was super easy to set up!

This router will repeatedly drop connections with any devices connected through WiFi. I tested two of these VAP11S units and both yielded the same results. DHCP doesn't always resolve IP addresses either, so a static IP assignment becomes a frustrating requirement.The white enclosure is made of very cheap plastic. There's only one screw hole which is very poorly positioned directly underneath the non-removable USB/Ethernet cables.
