I’ve used these for 8-16 hours every day for nearly a year. They look no worse for wear and I expect to get another few years - maybe more! - from them. They were very quick to install and accommodate my weight with no problems (6’, 200 lbs / 184cm, 91kg). I removed my arm rests from my chair to use these instead.I found you’ll want to position them in front of where your elbows naturally fall. When I installed these too far outside, it felt like my elbows wanted to slide away from me, which caused discomfort.I’ll continue to use these but I have wondered if something non-moving and with better padding would be more comfortable. I’m not willing to spend that $80/arm yet though!

…. Très utile!…. Ça m’empêche d’avoir des douleurs au coude!…. J’appuie mon avant bras dessus, qui empêche mon coude d’appuyer directement sur le bureau et enlève du poids de mon épaule!… j’ai plus rarement la main engourdi

It works perfectly. I have bad shoulders, and this helps so much when I'm at the computer working or just vegging while browsing online.

As a standing desk and stool user, I was looking for a solution to fix intense chronicle sore I had because of the lack of arm-rest. This item has fix most those issues. Some suggestions for an upgrade version of this product would be to add some screw system to adjust the smoothness of the articulations, plus a "U" shape where the forearms/elbows are supported, more hollow, to really keep them in place, like the same shape on those crutch that goes almost all around the arms.

That wouldn't matter if it were just a flat rest, but they had to make this weird stirrup share and so any time it turns 2 degrees your arm hits the outside or inside and it's weird and uncomfortable. And I mean when I move from mouse to keyboard. It seems like the thing is intended to move with your arm, which would also work, but it doesn't.The hinges are good enough for that wo work, so results in awkward pulling. and very non-fluid movement.if you never lift your hands, this could work.Otherwise they prove that armrest mounted to the desk could be a good idea, but a version that is well thought out and better tested. and probably not these stirrups.I question the existing reviews, they are positive in a way that seems disconnected.

It helps for a normal office chair with no arm rests. I have a nerve injury on my arm and it helps keep my comfort and posture up

I have been working from a home office for 10 years, and finally after developing a lot of back and hip pain, I switched to a saddle chair instead of the "comfortable" office chairs that I had been using. I also bought an electric standing desk--I wish that I had made these changes years ago, because I feel so much better at the end of the day. However, when you start using a saddle chair and/or a standing desk, you quickly realize that there is no place for your elbows. These little contraptions solve that problem. They can withstand a good amount of downward pressure (note that the desk is more likely to break than these arm rests- I think if they were used on a flimsy chipboard desk, they might break the desktop). I use them when sitting and using the keyboard and mouse- they glide around so I can swing my elbows as needed while still resting them. When used in standing desk mode, they also give good support to my elbows while allowing me to fidget around. I have tried a lot of contraptions for ergonomic office support over the years, and these are high on the list of 'keepers' -I don't expect to work without these going forward.

I've had this a week. One bar went on my office desk and the other is on my chilling desk. My arm/wrist has not hurt ONCE since adding them. The clamps are sturdy, it's simple to set up though you may want a little WD-40 for the joints. They're great if you write/code/ video edit etc. However for if you're FPS gaming you may want to get a stationary rest. The slight resistance will affect flicks, there's no getting around that. It's just physics. I don't play FPS so it's no issue to me. Really helps when grinding levels on the weekend.

I've got an L-Shaped desk. My chair's arm rest wouldn't go up quite high enough to support my mouse arm. Annoying. I tried pads on my arm rest, raising my chair, and several other things that didn't work.I saw these and thought "why not?" so I ordered them. I only need one considering the shape of my desk but dang, it's nice. I got it set to the height that's comfortable and it provides excellent support and mobility for my arm.My only wish is that once I set the height, I could lock it in somehow. If I bump it, I have to reset it. Resetting isn't a huge drawback, but it's a minor annoyance. Still worth it for the comfort and ease-of-use though. My arm can ride in it whether mousing or using the keyboard. I'm sure glad I took a chance on it.

FAR better than the "single axis" ones as you can adjust elevation, and when installed in the proper configuration, you can swivel them over your desk and get RIGHT UP to your keyboard.Elbow "pads" are PERFECTLY formed to accommodate your elbows and I've used them for DAYS, literal DAYS at a time and never felt any discomfort or had my elbows get sore.

I like how the rests swivel with your arms while moving from mouse to keyboard.Did not like how my knees kept hitting the clamps under the desk. Arm rests also become uncomfortable with the neoprene and lack of cushioning.
