This is a perfect sturdy and bright long lead for my dog, whose recall is not reliable :) We also use it for swimming.

Overall this is a decent product. It is nice and long, the bright colour makes it easy to see and the fact that it floats makes it safer for my dog in the water. However, the clasp can get sand and grit inside and then doesn’t close properly or gets stuck open. Kind of a nuisance so that is why I deducted one star.

This leash (orange) is great. I purchased it because my year old pup got caught in a bit of a current in a relatively narrow river and ended up on the bank on the other side. This long leash that floats was perfect. No more worries of him floating down river.

It seems like a good teaching long lead....we tried it but he got frustrated when he got tangled up in it....overall very good quality...I was concerned the clip was plastic but it is metal.....we have an 80 pound white shepherd and I did not have any concerns about it holding him. We are trying to train him to stay with us in the backyard when we do gardening but of course his brain has it's own stubborn attitude...hahahah. Overall I would recommend it.

When I received it and removed from its packaging it started to off gas. I hung it outside for a few hours and it was good to go. The handle and hook seem sturdy enough for our border collie pups, the colour is great and it coils easily as I use it with one of the pups. I rated it as I have simply because we have only had it for a day when I wrote this review.
