I bought the 130 micron, 39"x39" nylon mesh to strain lumps out of paint for airbrushing. I cut it into 2" square pieces and push it into the airbrush cup, then discard it after each fill. Haven't had a clog since! Works out to about $.03 per filter and I get about 360 out of a sheet.I usually use acrylics and thin them to a little thicker than milk consistency and it works well for that. I might suggest a finer mesh if you use thinner paints.

Got this to use for filtering oil concentrates, works great. Plenty of material. Strong. Good price.

Took a shot at redoing the filter test screen on my pool robot . I cut to size , use a razor blade instead of Scissors. I used waterproof glue .
