The design of this sink drain is really nice, it has all the features you would want to stop food from going down the drain. The drainage filter is really easy to use, and so is the stopper. The only issue I had was when I was doing the dishes, it didn't seal well enough in my sink to hold water. This may have been just due to the diameter of the drain in my sink, I can't say for sure, but that was a deal breaker for me as I wanted it specifically to do dishes with and catch residue and food scraps afterwards.

The strainer works really. The basket collects food and debris at max and drains water very well. It’s easy to wash. The only unfortunate aspect is the silicone around the inside of the ring is starting to tear. Not sure how long it will last . Our water is very hard so will see how resistant is the product to rust and decay.

I was looking for a kitchen sink strainer that could also stop water, so I got this Kitchen Sink Drain Strainer. It's a big improvement over my old metal strainers, and the pop-up stopper feature is really handy for holding water when needed.Pros- Easy to use with a simple pop-up stopper feature.- Fits standard 3-1/2 inch drains perfectly.- Stainless steel design is durable and easy to clean.Cons- None I can think of

Much needed upgrade! I previously had a plastic stopper and it would get so stained and was so hard to clean. This has been such a life changer! It’s so easy to clean, it was inexpensive and high quality.
