Bought this for a fan motor I needed to replace for a job. Worked beautifully. Pro tip, use a socket & drill to get it out faster than just a ratchet

Perfect for me to be able to remove the blower motor if stuck on squirrel cage.

I’m in HVAC and The hub remover itself has been great, hasn’t been one motor I haven’t been able to get out of a blower assembly. I was hoping to also utilize the added pieces for other things, but they really don’t work. Would still recommend.

This is the one you want!!This is a simple tool but essential if you have a motor shaft stuck in a squirrel cage. Mine would not budge even after several attempts but this device worked like a charm. It's beautifully made with excellent craftsmanship and a very fine finish so I'm sure the best components were used in its construction.I can't say enough good things about this. Buy it!

I had to replace my furnace blower motor, and the squirrel cage was frozen. This made quick work of pulling it.HOWEVER, if you have a tap/die set, I recommend running the hex bolts through the die (5/16 - 18) to clean up the threads. When I first tried to screw them into the aluminum tool body, it was clear there was a lot of resistance. The threads on the bolt were NOT very good. Running them through the die cleaned them up and I could easily screw them in by hand. Remember, you're screwing into aluminum, so you could easily wreck the threads in the tool body if you don't do this

I buy stuff on Amazon all the time and I’m really bad about taking time to leave reviews. But since I saw some negative ones when I was browsing this product, I knew I wanted to leave a note on my positive experience.I used this tool on two HVAC blower fans that had frozen to the motor shaft. No amount of liquid wrench, WD-40 and/or hammer pounding would get it to budge. Plus the angles are all weird and I didn’t want to bend the fan as I wanted to be able to reuse.I gave up yesterday and reinstalled everything because I needed to get the AC back on in the house. After my defeat, I plopped down to see what YouTube had to say about my plight and this product was in several of the results that came up. I was able to get it overnight.Rigged everything up this morning and it popped right off once I got a good rhythm going using a socket and crescent wrench. I did find that I needed to set the part that covers the hub up a little bit above the wall of the blower fan in order to be able to get the hex key in to tighten the screws. One tip I saw online in advance was to make sure when you are putting the screws in that you aren’t screwing into the hole on the hub where the set screw is or you’ll muck up those threads.Worked like a charm, two systems are all back together after clearing this roadblock and things are nice a cool in here! I didn’t have any of the issue described in the negative posts, so either they’ve improved the product since then or I just got lucky.
