This tablet was great for a little while. Even after numerous resets it's slower than a slug running away from salt. I've noticed a strange glow around the edges of the screen and basically this is no where as good as when I first got it. And in full disclosure, we've barely used it. After initial use it started getting slower and slower. Umidigi normally give you great products but this one is a fail. Perhaps it's just mine but regardless all I can give you is my experience. What follows is my original review:The preinstalled software on this tablet is sure to give your little ones hours of enjoyment.The tablet has been in use for a couple days now and the battery is holding a decent charge still at almost 50%. All the basic functions of a tablet are here if you prefer to exit the children's software and use it for yourself is no problem. The tablet has very few apps, just the basics, -which is a good thing because its not full of bloatware, this way you can add whatever you want from Play Store.As far as storage goes 32 GB is a bit on the low end considering how large many apps are nowadays, but it does have expandable memory up to 1 TB. Videos and apps run smooth enough on this Umidigi tablet.But this tablet is geared for kids and it is wonderfully set up for that. A good purchase at this price point.

Our UMIDIGI Ownership experience started with the A5 Pro, Power 3, F1, Bison X10 and F3S. All of which are currently in use except for the A5 Pro which was lost/stolen. All the devices had a premium look and feel, and excellent performance and superior bang for your buck. These positive experiences were the reason why I had the UMIDIGI tablets in my list of devices to research.So when I received an invitation to try the newly released G1 Tab Mini Kids from UMIDIGI, I jumped at the opportunity.When I opened the box I was delighted to see that the G1 Tab Mini Kids included the same bundles I always got with all my past UMIDIGI devices, a case, cable, charger block and screen protector (already applied). No hassles, and no need to search and spend more for compatible cases and screen protectors, which seems to be the new norm when you buy devices these days. The the G1 Tab Mini Kids is a solid device, a bit hefty (probably due to the good size Battery and robust case), but that feels good in hand and gives assurance of a quality build. The case is shaped for hands of all sizes, and is comfortable to hold for long periods of time.The attached stand, which is a wide loop that rotates around a central axis, is both comfortable to hold and supports the tablet any direction you wish to stand it up.The G1 Tab Mini kids powered up in little time, as expected for a first start and battery was at 87% so I could go through the usual android set up without having to wait. Set up was done without any issues and account synced quite quickly. Android updates were downloaded and installed quickly in the background no fuss no muss.The screen resolution is excellent and bright, text is sharp, easy to read, colours are rich and vivid.Battery life has been great, lasting all day, running youtube videos, playing music, and doing video calls. Though it drains faster when gaming, which is normal with most devices.Processing speeds are adequate but lag slightly when compared to some of our samsung phones.They have a good selection of activities for young children. We liked that there was a parental lock on these features where you have to enter a code to exit back into the home screen. Meaning that there is little chance of a young child getting into something they weren't supposed to.The camera resolutions are good for the video calls kids would make with family members.One feature we would like the developers to consider would be a "knock to open" function, as the only way to activate the screen is with the power button, which is reassessed in the case, that makes it harder for kids to accidentally turn off, but can be annoying for adults.I must say that the excellent experience we have had and are having with our other UMiDiGi devices, continues!I trust the value and build quality of this G1 Tab Mini Kids, which like our other UMIDIGI devices, punches above their weight and class, I won't have to buy any accessories, I can still use the wired headphones I already own, and have bluetooth connectivity if needed, a nice big battery that lasts a good long while, has support for the latest Android and security patches, expandable storage, a device that does what I need it to do and at a reasonable price.UMIDIGI is a brand that we have come to appreciate, If you fall in the same use category as us, this may be a device to try. I started many years ago with a budget A5 Pro, and our experience with the brand has been positive so far.

I bought this for my great granddaughter as she is just old enough now to enjoy something like this. She loves to watch her Youtube kids on this. I was concerned it would be too heavy by looking at the pictures before purchase, but actually it's not heavy at all and the case on this provide a very nice grip. The stand on the back is excellent and sets the tablet up well and sturdy and has solid durability the way it's built. It has a very nice kids app you set up with parent password to keep everything within the app to allow the child full access to all apps on the device but lock it up protecting it from the child getting in to any settings to mess things up. I do wish it had more internal memory, but with the micro sd expansion slot it's not a big deal. I don't see any issues with responsiveness of the device, it's works pretty steady and quickly. Screen looks very good HD quality. Having Android 14 is a huge plus also. I really love the durable case and as young as my great grandbaby is she has already plunked it a time or two. She loves it a bunch which makes me a very happy grandpa! I highly recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a durable and well operating tablet for their little one!

Article reçu très rapidement dans une belle boîte avec a l'intérieur, la tablette wifi 8 pouces, écran HD 3Go Ram+ 32 Go ROM extensible par port micro SD, après c'est une tablette faite pour les enfants faut pas non plus s'attendre à des performances énormes j'ai envie de dire le plus important c'est l'application kid qui est installé dessus et qui est prêt à activer déjà avec un numéro d'identification.Le son n'est pas très fort je pense c'est le fait qu'elle est destinée pour des enfants, il y a également Android 14 la dernière version du système en cours d'ailleurs j'ai bien eu une petite mise à jour pour régler quelques bugs mineurs, une protection d'écran est appliqué dessus et vous avez la grosse coque rembourrée qui englobe la tablette. En grosso modo une bonne tablette pour les enfants pas plus.

Battery can last about 3 hrs of use and it's not the fastest one out there but it does the job.

Très contente de ces tablettes qui fonctionnent très bien même après presque un an! J’ai attendu d’avoir le temps d’utilisation adaptée afin de juger de leur qualités !( je n avais pris deux pour mes deux enfants)

This is the perfect product for our kids. It has a long battery life and works just fine. My life has become easier: I don't have to give them my phone anymore, and they can't make it sticky.
