Clamp almost anything to almost anything. Feels very sturdy and rock solid when clamped down. The clamps hold on very tightly (tightly enough, in fact, to cause damage to certain surfaces, so mount with caution). At one point I had this mounted to the handlebar of my motorcycle, and even going over potholes and severe bumps in the road, it never once gave any indication of letting go. Feels very strong and seems like it will hang on well to almost anything.

Even though these clamps are a bit expensive they are well worth the price they are solid they're sturdy and there's no plastic we clipped a large umbrella to our chairs and the clamps did not let go even on the windy day I had ordered two and I am very happy with them and plan to order two more in the near future they are really well worth it

The ULANZI Super Clamp Double Camera Clamp, R096 Crab Pliers Clip Bracket, came in a very well packaged box with lots of protection. It is versatile, strong and all metal. Only one side of the clamp can be moved in various positions, the other side does not bend, it can only be rotated, I knew this before buying it, so no surprise. I am very happy with this product!

It's too heavy to use to attach an umbrella to the pochade box. Its a good product and quite versatile, but for my purposes, it's too heavy. You can use it to attach the umbrella to the tripod itself, but that can protect your painting from the rain but you won't be able to paint under it.
