there is no noise cancelling or batteries in this unit . I am a adult male and they fit me just fine. I use them for the stereo tv and the sound quality is good . comfortable too . not suited for children as they fit an adult comfortably .

The headphones are not as they seem in the pictures on the Amazon web site. Will not buy them again. Not noise cancelling hardly fits over my kids ears and they are 7, 9 and 12
