Incredible, it manages to make even my mid-range WH-CH720N's sing out of it. The price is well worth it for a well built DAC that makes any headphones plugged into it sound amazing.

I do love the higher end UGREEN products, never purchased the lesser priced versions.Very well made and works flawlessly.I have a Samsung S21 Ultra and miss being able to plug in good headphones - Bluetooth is convenient but you have to admit the sound quality suffers. Its sooo nice to listen to music on my studio quality headphones again. Remember you'll only notice the difference with high end streaming options and music you rip onto your phone. Most streaming options cap at a medium fidelity so save the $$ and get the lesser priced UGREEN dac.Your products have never disappointed and thank you for making a high end quality dac at a very reasonable price.

If you want an easy way to get headphones connected to your iPad like I did, THIS is an ideal solution! Works. Inexpensive. Good sound. Hard to beat really. Highly recommend.I would rate this a 4.5 stars because a more granular volume control would be great but I don't think that's something they can make happen in this design.

Plugging this in like night and day compared to the Apple dac connector. Everyone says that's the gold standard, but the Apple cable is flimsy and volume is lower when connected to an Android of Steamdeck. I tested this one and the difference in sound quality is huge. I use it with a pair of KZ ZS10 Pro X's, Intially I was disspointed with the sound having tested with the Apple dac and nearly returned the ZS10 X pro's, but switching to this Ugreen one made a huge difference when I connected them to all of my devices. It's also more sturdy, i'm not worried abou the cable breaking on this. It is more stiff out of the box.

Update:This adapter looks to have started to fail after a couple weeks of use as well (it also got quite hit during use). It has started to make crackling and poping sounds while playing music and when plugged in doing nothing at all. It happens ever so slightly on my Hifiman Sundara headphones, but is extremely prevelant on my IEMs.Its most noticeable when the is a change of volume in track or when starting and stoping a track or anything else that causes sound to start and stop.--‐-----------------Original ReviewI bought this after my first ugreen 24-bit adapter failed (probably from overheating according to Ugreen support) and after trying a second one wich had an issue with the dongle volume being stuck and would not get louder of softer.Overall, this unit is able to provide more power to my headphones which are higher impedance compared to the 24-bit version, but it is still not enough to drive large headphones like the HD650, Sundara, K702 well. Smaller IEM's however work decently. Compared to my desktop DAC and AMP setup, it falls short but thats acceptable considering this is only $20.

The cable seems to be thicker than other alternatives, making it feel more like a quality product. It sounds good, but I'm no professional on that matter. I would buy again instead of an apple one if I had to

Working great the first 2-3 time used, then i tried to use it and theres a static now in the Iem/headphone when using this adapter, touching or moving the adapter will cause sound artifact, cannot be bended even a bit without heavy distortion. Good to use for PC but wouldnt use it for phone use where theres always movement, otherwise does as described

I use this with my S24 Ultra and it works quite well. Quality of sound is very nice. Also, supports hifi upscaling. The cord itself is quite floppy but resilient, which is very good when you want to use it in the pocket. Headphone jack sits very firmly, hard to yank out accidentally. Compatible with my laptop, even though it does not usually support USB C headphones, being recognised as a normal sound card. Great value for money, would recommend.

【総評】音楽を聴くための製品 (ドングルDACなど) ではないことを理解して適材適所で使えば、十分に良い品質の製品。ただし接続機器との相性などには注意。【利用環境】- ソース: Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music Unlimited, Zoom- 併用機材: Apple MacBook Pro + カスタマイズ済みKZ ZS12 PRO X【注目点】↑比較的新しいALC5686を使っていて、古い安価なDACチップより音質全体が一段上。↑価格の割に作りがなかなか良く、安っぽさを感じない。↑MacBook Pro直挿しよりノイズが少なく、ちょっとしたステップアップに向いている。↑32bit/384KHzまでのPCMに対応。↑鳴らしやすいイヤホンなら違和感なく鳴らせる。→とはいえ、イヤホンやヘッドホンをきっちり制御できる感じではない。↓接続環境によってはやたらとノイズが入る。(補足を参照のこと)【補足】- 古いMacBook Proでの利用時、32bit/384KHzに設定するとノイズが入ったが、24bit/96KHzに設定することで改善できた。- ↑については、新しいMacBook Proでは32bit/384KHzで問題なかった。- [2024年8月更新] 出口をKZ ZS12 PRO Xに変更したら、再生音が良かったので、評価を更新しました。

I bought this and another dongle DAC (Linsoul Kiwi Ears Allegro Mini Portable IEM DAC). I prefer this one though it doesn't amplify volume compared to Linsoul.I love the percussive audio crispness that is delivered when you hear that thump of the bass drum and the snap cut through of the snare beat say in Dua Lipa's song Hullicinate. I enjoy hearing more of the little details coming from the greater clarity this dongle DAC has provided.I like that it a simple yet durable cable something I value alot. I've rough handled during my work commute, my previous headphone connector from AudioTechnica that causing its external volume control to increase volume whenever it felt like it. Durability is definitely important.
