Nice size for a variety of jobs around the house. Not sturdy enough for wailing on wth a 5 lb hammer, but used within its limits this is an excellent vise. Some of the edges are sharp and could have been filed by the manufacturer - but this is a cheap Chinese product and expectations should match. Works well for its intended use, no complaints.

Trash. Metal broke the moment I put pressure on an item I needed to secure to remove a bolt. Didn't last 2 minutes into first use. I should have listened to the other reviews.

J'utilise cet étau pour des petits travaux de bijouterie. C'est une pièce pur le travail léger ça petite enclume n'est pas très robuste car elle n'est pas dans un pièce solide (pièce vide à l'intérieur). Mais pour la plupart des petits travaux léger il es acceptable.

I bought this for her so she can straighten out her jewelry if she needs to or clean a piece or do whatever. It is strong secure. The paint is good, And the plate is nice and flat, There are no sharp edges and it works really well. This being made of iron (I think it is) it is very durable..... I dropped it from a height of 6 inches onto a pillow and it didn't break!

This is a very decent vise and works well. My only complaint would be the plastic parts. None of them fit well at all ang get lost. This is important if you don't want to scar the table you are mounting to or your work piece. I superglued the upper mount pad so it wouldn't get lost and used Flex Seal to rubberize the jaws, the jaw covers being lost almost immediately. Open the vise, they fall off. At least on mine, and having padding between my work piece and the sharp steel of the jaws is highly important being a woodworker. But they aren't even marginally well-fitted. Hopefully your experience differed. But still, great vise fir a great price. I'd 5 star it in a heartbeat had the plastic accessories fit the vise properly.
