Allows me to use a keyboard dongle or USB thumb drive for additional storage on the ONN AndroidTV boxes. The Pro models have actual USB port(s) so it's likely unnecessary but the standard unit onlyhas HDMI port and USB for power. This allows you to Y cable the power and a standard USB socket.Great little 2 pack.

Works on the Fire Stick...but be sure to format your thumb drive using Fire Stick format to storage.

This is the 2nd OTG cable I bought and seems to be more stable than the first one.I am using this OTG cable to add more storage to my Fire TV 4K Max as I got tired of installing & uninstalling apps due to frequent out of space messages. And there is no way I can clear cache of all the apps in one step, I have to go to each app and click “Clear Cache”.So far, I am able to use this OTG cable for 4-5 hours before Fire TV stick gets hot. Once it gets hot, I CAN NOT use this OTG cable anymore because it will go into endless cycle of reboots. Note: The original cable from Fire TV stick works fine and will not cause constant reboots.Once my Fire TV stick has cooled down, the OTG cable will work fine again.
