Your cart is empty.Victor TurboTorch 0386-0819 PL-8A Tip Swirl, Air Acetylene, Self Lighting increases the range of the torch kit with additional self lighting tips. All TurboTorch tips feature an orifice screw that can be easily removed for simple cleaning or replacement, extending the life of the tip. The process is Air Acetylene. The silver solder is 1/2-1 inch. The replacement orifice part number is 0305-0511 and the replacement tip 8A-TE. BTU is 2,520 and the tip size is 5/16 inch. Industrial applications include high capacity and HVAC. Gas flow is 7 at 14 PSI SCFH. Soft solder is 1-2 inches.

I have found that that the most reliable way to light the tip is to-Open the b tank half a turn,-Set the regulator on max-Open the handle's needle valve a full turn,Then use a non flammable surface to block the tip (to prevent LIFT-OFF),while leaving a 1/4"-3/8" gap (as to not cause a BACKFIRE)Once ignited the needle valve can be finely tuned as desired, I hope this helps!!!!!!!

This Very efficient and safe to use, comparing to regular, flint lighting of torch this makes it easier to work with and also heat tranfer happen fast, which makes it a great tool to have, VALUE FOR MONEY, Must have tool for Ac Technician

I am a commercial plumber and use this torch tip regularly. Very convenient not to have to use a striker, especially in tight spaces. I have a PL-3A, PL-8A, and plan to get a PL-12A very soon. Great product!
