Can sweat almost as good as a A32 acetylene tip, broad heat better for large soldering jobs over brazing smaller pipe.Great price, only thing is that if you arent wide open or the tank is nearing empty the tips go red very fast as the barrels are a bit thin. Faster than turbotorch products for sure - thats the only reason for 4 stars over 5.

Amazon could work on their packaging. That's what the envelope looked like when I opened my replacement torch. The first torch I sent back because the wire holding the burner tubes together looked like it had broken. Couldn't be sure if that was supposed to be broken because there is no product support available and nothing in the manual about it. Either way the tubes were not lined up correctly and I was not taking chances with a defect on something this size made by people that can't spell "fuel". Damn it looks so cool though. Alot bigger than my pencil torch that's for sure. I had to give it another shot.The replacement has a broken wire too so maybe that is normal, but could've also been caused during shipping considering the state that it arrived in. Those are two big heavy pieces of metal banging together inside that shipping envelope. This one is definitely going back for damage beyond just that wire. Probably won't take chances on a third. Everything about this torch is one huge red flag after another.Before you try this thing out I would make sure you have your affairs in order.

This has been one of the hottest torch tips i have ever seen. It can soften metal to the bendable point, it can heat and brass car radiators with ease and if it's cold in your garage in the winter, it will heat it up just fine. That last one was a joke but, you do need to use it in a well ventilated area because it really does put out the heat. Now for the CON's: There is only one setting and that is full blast all the time. This has a couple drawbacks like if your use small portable gas cylinders you have between 7-10 mins of run time before you exhaust a full tank. It also means you have no temp control from the tip. It's blasing full blast or its off. If you try to adjust it down off of full you will damage the tip itself due to the concentration of heat at and below the flame tip exit point. It only takes about 20 sec to go from normal to glowing white hot at the ends of the tip. I have used it with both Propane and Mapp GAS and both perform well with it. Just remember, if your using it with a handheld type cylinder, the cylinder will freeze up at the bottom and it will only last about 10 mins
