This is a box of four plastic dummy cameras. At first glance and close-up, they don't seem totally believable, so need to be used strategically. Each dummy-cam takes two AA batteries which are not included. Once you insert your batteries, the unit comes on instantly and there is no power switch. There are nail/hook mounting holes in the back of the unit and the battery cover isn't waterproof if you left this out in the rain, but does close. These can be easily mounted on walls and ceilings, with the flashing light pointing toward passing intruder paths. They're light enough you could affix one to the wall with a piece of double-sided foam tape.

Upon close examination, it is not hard to tell these are fake but from 10 feet or more away it is harder to tell.Construction is very basic and not great. I broke one trying to mount it to a door frame with double sided tape. The base just detached from the dome and skirt and refused to be put back together. Maybe I could have glued it but instead I just pulled the batteries and installed them in a new one and mounted that one instead.It is no more than a blinking red light, so if that is enough to deter someone than these might do the trick. Just don't mount it anywhere they can shine a bright light into it a have a good look lol.

These fake cameras been a great addition to my home security setup. The LED flashing light gives them a realistic look, which definitely adds an extra layer of deterrence. I installed them both indoors and outdoors, and they blend in seamlessly with my other security features. It’s great to have the peace of mind knowing these cameras help give the appearance of full surveillance coverage without the high price tag of real ones. I’m impressed with how well they work for what I needed!
