Really enjoyed using this product. Was easy to assemble and has a good weighted sturdy base. Used the product a few hours after it arrived to fix and solder a corroded photography camera lens battery compartment. Liked that it had the little rubber covers for the clamps, didn't scratch the plastic casing that I had to hold as well as the wire with another clamp and used the 4th clamp to hold the little piece of metal the wire attached to. Magnifying glass gave me a good clear close look and the light was nice and bright. Didn't know when ordering it that the light actually has 2 light modes, dim or bright.If you have projects where you could use extra fingers to hold things than this is the device you need.

I would have given it 5 stars, but I had to "McGuyver" one of the clamps ( it wouldn't screw closed). .. No big deal, but still.. not perfect out of the box.Nice and heavy, stable, and the magnifying glass is incredible! If I had to do it again, I would have bought one with a battery operated light, instead of one that requires a USB for power..Other than that? It's an amazing unit..If you can't solder with this.. Well.. You just can't solder.. LOL..

I have two of these in different places, so I must like them. Very heavy base won't tip. I mainly use it for the light. Note that it can't be assembled without the arms, as they hold on the rubber feet.

Arrived quickly and in excellent condition packed in custom fit high density foam. High quality materials. Base plate heavy enough for stability but not so heavy as to discourage moving it around. Magnifier with ring LEDs provides good magnification and light is useful as auxiliary stand alone bench illumination. Alligator clips are screw on and can be quickly and accurately adjusted and locked into place with knurled nut. Great addition to my bench.

It's big, it's heavy, and it's solid. Base plate and arms are solid steel. Lens is big and lights are super bright.

Everything is as it seems. Honestly thought the base was gonna be plastic with this world how it is. But heavy steel plate and everything all quality. Rubber tops for the claws so you don't rip the wire off and no accidental wiring problems. Great product

Un excellent produit auquel j'enlève malgré tout une étoile car le bras accueillant la loupe était peu stable sur le modèle reçu (défaut de fixation à la colle ou à la soudure)J'ai utilisé de la colle à chaud pour solidariser à nouveau l'ensemble.

Non lo uso per saldare ma per sorreggere miniature da fotografare.Al mio scopo va benissimo, sono fotografie quasi macro con soggetti molto piccoli che posso orientare a piacimento scegliendo l'inquadratura "perfetta".Sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto.Unico neo, un braccetto non si fissa bene, rimane un po' di gioco.E' un difetto da poco ma è un difetto.
