My fuse blew in my instant pot duo 8qt, and these were the right amp fuse to replace. It was easy and now it works like brand new!

Used this to replace a broken thermal fuse for a Gourmia Air Fryer so it did not light up or power on at all. The air fryer had a thermal fuse rated at 377F (192C) even though you can set it to bake at 400F (bad design), so within a few weeks the brand new air fryer' fuse blew and it would not power up.You can check if the thermal fuse is actually bad without cutting it off or removing it, by using a MultiMeter to check for 'continuity' (lots of info on internet on how to do that). So the bad thermal fuse was replaced with this 440F (227C) thermal fuse and it's been working fine even on the hottest 400F setting for a few months now, got a few spare so not worried if the fuse blows again but I doubt it unless the appliance has a different fault that causes it to overheat. You just cut off the bad fuse, and you can either solder in the new fuse with a heat shrink sleeve over it, OR you can just crimp the new fuse on with a "butt splice crimp connector" (so no soldering required) also with a heat shrink sleeve just to be safe. There are many YouTube videos showing how to replace thermal fuses and how to solder or crimp. Once you know how to do it, you can also fix thermal fuses for other appliances like Oil Filled Radiator Heaters tend to blow their thermal fuses a lot, just make sure you replace it with the same rated temperature fuses for them.
