It really is a cute gift for those that like these little creatures. Yes a squeaky voice just like you would expect. But seems very cheap in quality it might not last long. But so cute.

I have one from years ago that is a monkey, it is a much better quality product than this. This hamster looks deformed. The fur is very soft though. The quality of the voice is poor. It sounds mechanical and doesn't always pick up what is being said to it. I wouldn't buy it again. For this quality it should be priced lower. I'd say maybe $5-$10.

This little guy is so cute. We've had so much fun with him. Bought for a child's birthday gift but adults enjoying him so much had to buy another one. Picture shows his belly as white but it's more of a creamy yellow. Disappointing as he would be cuter with a whiter belly.

You have to talk very loud for the mic to pick up your words, and it usually fails to pick up the first syllable or two, so the output is horrible. It's also super loud. I wish I hadn't wasted my money on this.

Perfect gift for any age, but especially for ages 1-10. My 10 mon old squeals and jabbers at this little guy and it squeals and jabbers back, so she keeps doing it again and again. Soo cute! We've only had it a couple weeks so I can't say how long batteries will last. It doesn't always work just perfectly; every now and then it gets a fit where it keeps going, but we just turn it off to make it quit and when we turn back on it's ok. The 4 yr old loves it too.
