PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Our suture pad is made with the best quality composite material and passed through multiple lab tests to ensure that its texture is close to real skin with a standard approved thickness that makes it ideal for deep wound closing practice. This suture pad is with 3 layers design, simulating human skin, subcutaneous, and muscle. The pad consists of different size pre-cut wounds designed for elementary suture skill training. Users can gain experience & proficiency while doing suturing practice on the pad.
VARIOUS TRAINING USAGE
The suture pad is made of Silicone, which is closest to the human skin texture. For durability, we place a protective mesh on the pad between the first layers, while the suture threads go through the mesh, the silicone won’t be broken and ripped easily. But if we’re not proficient in suturing skills, the silicone material will be broken. The same skin rip & break situation will probably happen in reality caused by non-proficient and less-practice suturing skin.

I've purchased a few different versions of these suture pads, and compared to all the others, including the ones that come in kits with tools and sutures, this one is significantly thinner, made of a more synthetic feeling plastic with an odd vinyl-ish smell, a weirdly tacky surface, and the material tears very, very easily. I suppose it's good practice to have to suture everything so delicately and slowly, and to repair the new tears with more suturing, but I would not willingly buy another suture pad made from this material.
