Using Your New System - 3X Lock
The module will monitor the OEM remote for 3X Lock and will start your vehicle when you press lock 3 times. An aftermarket remote is not necessary, there are no extra key fobs to carry around.
Unique Start-X T-Harness
The included T-harness is a unique Start-X T-Harness that can not be found anywhere else. The T-harness is neat and avoids the the usual "rats nest" of wires.
Complete Kit
The kit contains everything you need for a successful installation, We even include a pry tool to pop the panels and zip ties to secure the module.

Web stated that the product is good for 2023 ram 1500- actual products is good for ram 09 to 12. Not compatible. Very disappointing

Ram 2022 Push-to-start :Looked at the video for this before I bought this and figured the hardest part would be to splice the ignition wire. I was right… by far the hardest part. Second hardest was to find that wire! Next was the limited space to work in. Had to fold myself into a pretzel it felt like. Here are the steps in short and level of dificulty:1: remove front panel - easy2: find place to connect plug 1 of harness - easy3: connect plug one of harness - not so easy due to limited space. Found out there is easier access if you take of the panel where the light-switch is. Its right behind it.4. Connect harness to on/off switch - really easy5. Find correct wire to splice ignition cable to - fairly easy but took a minute due to the number of wires and limited space.6. Splice the wire to connect ignition cable to - not too easy only due to limited space.7. Connect remote starter module to harness - really easy8. Program remote starter module in car - really easy just involves opening and closing door and hitting the start/stop button twice9. Unplugged remote starter (black plug last) - really easy10. Install weblink on computer - really easy, follow instructions on video11. Plug in programmer dongle (included) in usb on computer and connect it to the remote starter module -really easy, follow instructions on video12. Launch weblink program and follow instructions on the video to update the remote starter module - really easy, just follow video.13. Disconnect remote starter module from dongle and reconnect it in the car - super easy14. Finalize programming of remote starter module- really easy. Just press stop/start button a coupla times15. Use tie-wraps to tidy everything up and replace panel(s) - easy.Like i mentioned, hardest part was finding and splicing the ignition wire.Read the instructions on the pamphlet that comes with it and do ever In that order. Watch the video thats provided. Good luck.

I bought this for my 5th gen RAM 1500, and installation is pretty straightforward, but you have to follow every step to the letter and in order. It is a bit of a challenge to first find and then tap into the ignition wire under the dash, but that is a RAM design issue, not the kit manufacturers fault. Everything else is plug & play. Programming is easy, just follow the log in instructions, then follow the prompts. During programming there is also a menu that allows you to customize a number of parameters, such as run time. I left mine at the 15 minute default. The kit works seamlessly with the factory key fob, by pushing lock 3X and my truck fires right up! Distance is only limited by the range of the fob. It will be so good to get into a warm truck in winter, or a cool truck in summer!

I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to save money on a remote starter and install yourself. They have easy to understand directions along with videos. Their tech support is also AWESOME!!!

I think they assume anyone attempting this install is computer savy Just follow the instructions!!! I found it easier to do the weblink setup first using internet explorer. Do not connect the module to the computer untill you are ready to program it. Next install the module on the vehicle following the instructions once the pre-vehicle programming is complete disconnect the module go back to the computer using the usb dongle plug into the black connector and run the program once complete return to the vehicle and reinstall and do the post vehicle programming and it should work flawlessly make sure you tap into the correct BCM wire for your application. Thank me later lol 😆

It worked for about 30 days - just beyond my ability to return it. I have a 2022 Big Horn Ram 1500 Crew Cab. This unit did great after I first installed it. This is my second Start-X remote start. Purchased one for a Ford F250. Never had a problem with it. Install was much easier. This no longer functions as it should. Today it triggered a check engine light. I used the remote start, got in the truck and it immediately cut off. Tried to start the truck and the starter just continued to grind. Nothing. Pulled the Start-X remote off and my truck fired right up. This one is has been horrible. Nothing but trouble. I do not recommend and you should run away if you need a remote starter for your Ram 1500. This remote start is a Piece of junk - honestly.
