Maybe it's just me, but it was tricky to find and make sure this was the right adapter. My 8GB Video Card with DisplayPort (or Display Port) output needed to talk to my old DVI-I Monitor. Works perfectly, good quality.

Works perfectly, does the job. It allows me to use my old monitor with my new gpu! Price is a little bit on the high side but the quality of materials makes up for it.

There's a reason StarTech products are the go to in any business IT environment, it just works. Purchased a couple of these and variants for a set of new deployments in an office space and they work great converts full size DP to DVI into the monitor as intended.

Good quality for the price. It works well for me to connect my laptop to external monitor. Both cable and connector are solid. There's a lock mechanism at DisplayPort connector to prevent unexpected fall off. You have to push a tab to remove it from laptop.

I ordered this part, like many others just for the 144hz support but when plugging everything in correctly, still stuck at 60hz and no option to go higher. even when trying to force it into 144hz via gefore panel it wouldn't work.save the money of trying out all these weird dongles to get your 144hz, and just buy a new monitor.gn246hl 24" acer monitor paired with rtx 2070, does not work with this dongle.

I bought a PC in May 2020 with a video card that didn't support DVI. My monitor is a LG IPS. I was using one of these connectors. Worked fine for about 6 months. Randomly I would then get a pink screen that would be "fixed" by turning my monitor off and on. Thought maybe my monitor was going as it's old. That issue stopped. Then I randomly would lose my display. It knew it was connected to a PC, and my PC would be working/responding fine and I found the "fix" would be to unplug my monitor from the PC and plug it back in, and that would give my display back. But it was highly annoying. And happened at random times. So I bought a new connector, hoping this fixes the issue of me losing my display, and I hope it lasts longer then 6 months. At $25 each, it would quickly be cheaper to just buy a new monitor that has a display port connector then to keep replacing with these.

1070tiのグラボで使用しましたが、反応できませんでした。でも、新しいPCを買って4070tisuperを買って接続してみたら、反応しました。もしかすると、グラボで接続出来る出来ない個体差があると思われます。もし、接続出来ない人はもしかしたら、グラボが原因かと思います。個人の意見ですが・・・買って良かった商品でした。

I have a computer with two video outputs, one is an HDMI and the other one was a DP. I had an older computer with the DVI connection and this connected right to the DP Port right to my older monitor with a DVI and now I have two monitors. This is a very good product very well made and it saved my day.

I'm not very technically aware when it comes to DVI and analogue signals, so was unsure when I read a few reviews suggesting that it did not work correctly with dual monitors. I, however, simply wanted it to connect my new work laptop to a new 22" LED monitor. Cautiously, I bought only 1 of these adapters (despite needing 2), but once it arrived, it simply plugged in and worked beautifully, and I immediately ordered a 2nd. As said, does what it says in the tin, and a very good price.

Back when I was still driving a DVI-enabled monitor, this came in handy when I upgraded to a GPU that lacked any DVI ports, but had an excess of DP ports.

Usato poco anche perchè alla fine approfittando degli sconti del black friday di amazon ho cambiato il monitor con uscita displaport. L'oggetto fa il suo dovere funziona perfettamente senza dare mai problemi. Di ottima fattura ed Amazon sempre precisa e puntuale nella spedizione e nell'imballo.
