Worked great. We used this on a 10,000 km trip from western Canada to Orlando. We had the Starlink Mini attached to the underside of our sunroof in our SUV. It stayed in place the entire trip. We had great reception the entire time, even while driving through isolated areas. This holder and the Starlink Mini kept our autistic son entertained with streaming the whole way... it was a life saver!

This product is amazing! I live in a rural area and work on call 24/7 so traveling w internet is a must. I used this on my sun roof driving 55 mph down a dirt road for over 20 miles with two dogs hitting it occasionally, did not budge once. Great product! I even had my router set up and attached to it. I take it with me all the time for long 4-8 hour drive or quick hour trips. Never fails, easy to set up and remove.

I really liked that the designers of this mount leveraged the same method used for attaching the OEM kickstand. Another excellent design consideration was allowing a power cable to be inserted afterward. None of the Starlink Mini mounts I have reviewed, so far, were designed in such a way. The brace is light, because it is made of plastic, and sturdy, because it is designed well.However, I do not like the suction cups, at all. They do not match the quality of the brace, the plastic is different and, oh yeah, they look exactly like the suction cups found on discount shower caddies. They did hold firm during my test, but that was only for a short time.Summary: I was very interested in this mount but that interest waned when considering the price point combined with what appeared to be afterthought and aftermarket suction cups.This is not the mount for me, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it would not suit a different audience, which is the primary reason for the 4-Star rating.Personal Vine Disclosure: I only review items I would or have actually purchased and used. In some cases similar items from different companies are reviewed for comparison. The feedback (review) is honest, matter-of-fact, fair, sometimes with a hint of whimsy, and always with a critical eye.

The installation process was straightforward, and I appreciated the versatility in how I can mount it—I tried the roof,sunroof, and the windows of my vehicle. I settled on the rear windshield.One significant improvement I noticed is the stability of the mounting system. Compared to the previous three suction cup version I used, this new design feels more secure and holds its position much better, even when driving on less-than-ideal roads. I can comfortably drive without constantly worrying about repositioning or readjusting the mount.TIP: the suction cups tend to perform best once they've had a chance to adapt to the surface temperature of your vehicle. If you park in the sun for a while before mounting, you'll find that they grip even more strongly.

Wow, compact and well engineered. This device did wonders for my Starlink Mini. The mount is well made with great fit and finish. There are no raw or chipped edges to the plastic/rubber. It provides a compact but very strong fit. I use this in my Tesla, but also in a small twin aircraft. It does wonders, allowing me to push 210knots while safely adhering to the (interior) window. The mount allows proper positioning. I am getting downloads of 120+ mbps. My passengers really enjoy it. The mount allows great reception, providing the ability to video game, check emails, surf the internet, watch movies or even perform voip calls. Fantastic!

This is the best Starlink mini sunroof mount I've found, by far. It doesn't damage the Starlink, which all the slide-on types tend to do. This one locks into the back of the Starlink (you have to remove the standard mount first). I saw someone complain about rattling. I don't know how that could be unless the suction cup screws weren't tightened down enough. I wish it fit over my silicone protective cover, but I will modify my cover to make it work. I have to dock a star due to the price. This is not worth anywhere close to $80. This is a $30 item. It's just a piece of plastic and 4 suction cups. Give me a break. Look at the competition. It is the best design, so maybe $40, if you must.
