These do not fit at all and are not the listed 3/8 size to fit 3/16 line. The line fit through nicely and my double flares sat flush, but when I connected the fittings, they wobbled inside and leaked. It was impossible to torque them down, as the threads would constantly slip and a few even snapped. The company needs to do better quality control. Will be returning immediately.

Still should use heat but the tool cuts its way on to the stud perfectly.

I bought these thinking they were brass. I liked that because I thought they can't rust. When they arrived, I found that they stick to magnets - brass doesn't do that. These are either brass plated or just anodized that color. Having said that, I didn't think it was worth returning them, and I've used a few to repair a brake line recently. They're decent quality, but they aren't brass. I imagine steel is safe for brake lines anyway. It's far stronger than brass.

They worked fine. Not the highest quality but they will do. However, the NUT size is metric. I can't comment on the unions, I used some higher quality brass ones instead.
