Security cameraIt’s a nice solar powered security camera. Great to have when you have lots of kids around and Ward off porch Pirates lolI’ve not had lots of time to experiment with it , but unless you have a lot of sunny days, I don’t think that this solar panel will keep the camera functioning on solar power aloneThe camera is well built. It was easy to install. Make sure that you install it at a height of approximately 8 feet to get a good view of what your watching.WouldUse local storage if you don’t want to go into subscription mode but if you have hundreds of bucks and you need something like this to work, it will work well for youWill update a little bit more at a later time after more use and experimentation with this camera so far I like it

There’s a lot to like about this camera at first glance, and I gave it a thorough test before ultimately deciding to return it.✅ Pros:• Solid build quality — this thing feels durable and well-constructed.• The app is intuitive, with helpful tips and a clean interface.• PTZ movement is smooth and responsive at multiple speeds.• Night vision kicks in automatically and works reliably.• The alarm is LOUD—easily enough to startle anyone (including yourself).• Lights are bright, and visibility is good.But here’s where things didn’t quite work for me:❌ Audio-video sync issues — When reviewing footage directly from the SD card, the audio noticeably lagged behind the video.❌ Heavy reliance on 4G data — Repositioning the camera, adjusting angles, or even just viewing live footage all require data-heavy video streaming over cellular. This makes it less than ideal for anyone trying to manage data use or looking to repurpose a cheaper IoT SIM plan.❌ Cloud storage pricing confusion — The prices listed in the app didn’t match the description on the product page, which was off-putting.❌ No local alternative — I would have loved the option to use my own IoT provider or connect locally via Bluetooth while setting it up in close range.❌ Solar panel isn’t enough — In my climate (with lots of overcast days), solar alone likely won’t keep this powered, especially in colder weather where battery efficiency drops.This camera might work well for someone who has reliable sun exposure, doesn’t mind paying for a dedicated mobile plan, and just wants an easy, all-in-one solution. But for me—looking for something more flexible, data-conscious, and suited for colder off-grid scenarios—it just didn’t fit the bill.🤷♂️ Final Thoughts:I won’t say “don’t buy it,” because it is a good product for the right person. But if you’re hoping to self-manage connectivity, rely solely on solar in a cloudy region, or minimize ongoing costs—this may not be the right fit.Returned it, but not without appreciation for the design and potential.

It's nice to have solar power as a backup for when the power goes down to ensure constant operation. Unless you happen to live somewhere very sunny I don't think this unit will operate on solar power alone, you will want to have it plugged in at all times. Video quality is useable. If all you have to spend is a hundred bucks and you need something like this it will works well enough. Use local storage if you're not into subscription models.

With the built-in microphone and speaker of the wireless camera, you can see, hear, and talk to anyone who approaches.This 4G security cameras has two modes, full color night vision and infrared night vision with a 50ft visible range.I am pleased that it comes with a pre-inserted SIM card. It can spin 270° left and right + tilt 90° straight up or down for a wider and flexible viewing angle. The outdoor wireless security camera supports both local storage with an SD card (up to 128GB, 64GB included). It does the job well.

I really liked this camera but when you get unlimited it doesn't mean unlimited. I ran out of a month subscription in less then a week. Very disappointed. This was disappointing and was not clear.

This was very easy to set up and learn how to use. I love that it’s solar panels so you don’t have to worry about plugs. I think it’s very important to have security cameras around the house especially when you have small children so this is definitely something everyone should have.

The suggested purpose is to keep watch at remote places. Recommended installation height is 8 feet. So far so good. Problem: the battery will not stay charged in the winter months in my area, eastern North America. The solar panel is not large enough or the battery is not large enough. Anyways the battery dies in two days with solar panel fully exposed to daytime sun.....was advised by the manufacturer to use a second source for electrical power....at eight feet up and in a remote area that suggestion is not the answer.Would not recommend these units except at your residence in the back yard where you can maintain the battery.
