I've placed these in bushes that get very little sun. The cord to the panel is long enough that I can place that part in the sun.Because of how I used them separating the strings was a bit of a pain but in the end it looks great. Theyve come on as expected every night for over a month. They don't stay on as long as I would like but thats a reflection of how much sun they get not the product.

Just received today. Been busy setting up in my garden with these lights spilling out of an old silverplate teapot. So cute. Think I need a taller shepherd's hook to hang my teapot. Lights worked immediately but they are a bit of a challenge to untangle. Just TAKE your TIME so you don't break the thin wires. Still playing with the lights for best effect but so adorable. So glad these came as a cluster of nine (9) separate wires. No running single strand of lights up and down to achieve the waterfall effect these cute lights produce easily. Will update review in a week or so after they've been in the garden a while. But so far--GREAT!

Bought these to make a watering can water fall. It looks amazing. Lights are nice and bright and charge easily in our rainy weather.

These lights are bright enough outdoors. Used them to decorate a palm outdoors. The branches of palm in picture are these lights. Just make sure it gets enough sunlight. Used them for a month during the season.

Update from 2 stars to 5 stars after a year of continuous use outside in my flowerbed and they are still functioning as they should which is impressive considering I live in Minnesota so it gets very cold. Infact it was just -27°F overnight a couple nights ago and they were still out there glowing bright! I would recommend and will be purchasing again in the future. They hold up to the elements very well and the price is even better!These are still working so far after a couple months of being outside. the first set that i received only worked for 1 day and then quit working, even after replacing batteries. it was a wiring issue, sometimes when the wires are moved around by the wind or outdoor elements the lights flicker on and off. I have to go out and move them around again until they are positioned just right before they will work again. these loose connection rather easily. however, when they do want to work correctly, they are beautiful
