Product is great quality. But I have cables that I need to run to get some screlights set up in the front and back of my home. They integrate well with motion sensors and easily managable on the app. I would rather change the switches of my existing light to be smart and integrate them with the motion sensor to get rid of the cables I am running to new bulbs I installed.

First you need a Yolink Hub to operate any Yolink thing. This hub is the long range connection. Very easy to set up, and a good after sale service. Mobile app is well made.

Ordered this and the first one was completely non-responsive. No light turned on when plugged in to 15 amp GFCI as instructed and pressing the button did nothing even a hold to reset. Manufacturer sent another one. It didn't work either. I have a hub and water sensors that work great but there must be a bad batch at Amazon Canada or something.

I bought this in Dec and finally plugged it in now that I have wifi. It died within a few hours of plugging it in. We'll see what customer service is like now.

Early as just began using but easy to install, can give each plug a unique name and can control separately. I have a 2 automations tied into the yolink temp/humidity sensor that turns on and off the appropriate side based on low and high temp settings which turns on ceramic heater. This is for remote property and to protect water main supply inside from freezing just in case furnace goes out but power is on.

This thing, like all of the YoLink items I have purchased was so easy to install, intuitive, and just works!! Have had other brands of WiFi items before, but the YoLink is the best and most reliable I have found. A little bit more generally than other brands but since it’s easy and work perfectly then it’s worth a few more dollar bucks. Thanks.

After purchasing some Yolink water leak detectors, which are also a great product, I decided to replace my mechanical timer outlet with this Yolink Smart Outdoor Plug. This plug has two outlets that can be independently turned on/off, programmed to turn on/off at various times by setting up schedules, or with timers all via the Yolink app. You'll need a Yolink Hub in addition to the smart plug to operate it, although there is a manual button on the plug to turn both outlets on or off. This button lights up red or green giving you an easy visual if an outlet is active or not. You'll also be able to operate the smart plug remotely via the internet using the Yolink app.I have used a mechanical timer outlet for many years for the block heater of my diesel truck during the winter. I change the times the outlet is active very often, depending on my schedule and also temperatures. The mechanical timers are inconvenient with having to turn a dial to set the time, and moving very small "switches" to program the time(s) the outlet is active. I usually have to grab my glasses and a headlamp to make the changes. Even more miserable with cold fingers or in poor weather conditions.Not anymore! I've created various schedules (time on/time off) and then choose which one I want via the app on my phone. Heading out early to find that big buck tomorrow but you're already in bed and forgot to change the timer? Too easy! Want to change the amount of time the outlet is active to save on that electric bill? There's an app for that.Whatever your usage is, this has been another great product from Yolink. I highly recommend especially if you are interested in some of their other products that use the same Hub. God bless!

I like these because of the price per switch, and they can handle a bit more amps than the regular wall outlet modules with one outlet.Also being designed for outdoors, they should do very well in a damp basement.There are two switches in the box. If you want to use voice or Alexa Routines to control them, you must give them names, using the Alexa app.First install the device with the YoLink app, then ask Alexa to "Discover Devices".Once she finds it, open it with the Alexa app and name each switch.I have two of these 'Outdoor Plug YoLink' and use the Yolink app Smart/Automation/"Routines", scripts or programs.They work perfectly for controlling a dehumidifier and ventilation fan.I'm using Yolink temperature sensors to turn those devices on and off.(I'm using shortened names for these switches in the Yolink naming and the Yolink routines. Alexa still works using the longer names in her cloud).After seeing how reliable this dual switch is, I ordered a second one.It's controlling a 120AC to 12Vdc PSU for a security camera, and a tiny 12v wall-wart that drives a 12Vdc Relay Module with Optocoupler Isolation.(for 50Vdc)I have seen a few connection errors with this new unit.Since there are 2 regular Hubs and a Speaker Hub within 40 feet, I suspect the problem might be caused by 900 Mhz RFI coming from a single-board computer that's only about 3 feet from the new device. I plan to move the new unit about 15 feet away from the SBC and see how it does. Maybe put a ferrite RFI blocker on the AC Plug cord.Edit: 7/25/2023 I did not have to use a ferrite RFI blocker. Once I moved the dual-switch unit away from the SBC, I have not seen any Connection problems. My whole YoLink Smart Home / Security System is working flawlessly.

Wifi to outside brick wall just is not reliable to service outside of my home and the only way to connect was by a Yolink device which has a quarter mile range and works fine with Alexa. THANKS Yolink!
