About the Product
SmallRig Swivel Monitor Mount 3514 locks into place via a cold shoe at one end and attaches to a monitor via a unique SmallRig quick release plate at the other end. It swivels 360° and tilts 170°, and thus stops at any angle. 3514 has a dynamic load capacity of 1.5kg and its damping of pivot is adjustable through spanner. Features rubber pads on the top to prevent scratches and increase friction.

The hawk lock is very well designed. It clips on with little force, and stays on relatively well. There is no wobble once the attachment is clipped on.

quick release is solid and good for monitor. but the ajustable mount is horroble.need a mount can be ajusted for view but this one only ajust and locked. I put this on my gimbal handle for shoothing outdoor, after 2-3 times ajust, the mount become lose and fool my gimbal.

i love how easy this works but the tension is terrible. i crank the tension and within minutes it’s loose. i’m constantly tightening so my monitor doesn’t flop

Was wanting to love this for quick swapping of monitors, but the swivel and tilt loosen with every turn! Maybe I got a bum unit?

The mount is sturdy and it is nice to be able to attach the top portion to my monitor and leave it. Just need to take off of the mount, no need to do any other steps to mount the monitor. The unit is on the pricey side, but I did buy 2 more.

I use this on a daily with my camera perfect tilt and rotation for my Atomos Ninja 5, may need to tighten after some use but that should be normal with most mounts.

This quick release holds SO strong! I love it. Clicks in clearly, and you have to use the trigger to click something IN & OUT. So not quite your typical drop in. My one issue is the built Arri safety pins (the two small pins to prevent spinning) a bit too long to be universal. They do the trip, but there is a slight gap in my mount and my monitor that should be closed.

This this is SICK! I know a few people have complained about this being loose, but I would imagine those are faulty units as I have this, and another base so I can swap my monitor back and forth easier, and both are incredibly solid.Definitely going to be outfitting an entire rig with HawkLock very soon.
