Strong magnet that holds the door open, this was extremely useful since our iRobot purchase for floor cleaning . The iRobot was always getting behind the door and then it would close and it would be stuckThese were very helpful in preventing that

When I was looking at these I knew I didn't want the ones that attached to the molding by tape, but I wasn't sure about this one. I decided to give it a try and I'm really glad that I did. The magnet is strong. A brisk gust is not going to cause a door to slam when you have this installed.The mechanism looked strange but it actually works great. the angles on the plastic allow you to change where the stopper magnet is pointed enough to hit the plate perfectly flat. If you do that this thing works exactly like you need it to. Anyone looking to stop doors from slamming due to a breeze or just to firmly prop doors open without a conventional doorstop needs this.

After mounting this item, I found that it could hold the door open, but only once I relieved the tension arm on the door. Of course, this will only work on metal doors. which are common in condominiums and apartments. For those not familiar with the tension arm I have included a pic. Release the attention by turning the knob, located on the bottom, counterclockwise Thank you.
