Helps hitters stay inside the ball, keeping their hands closer to their body to build a more powerful swing. Hand-loaded design encourages the hitter to create bat lag keeping the barrel in the hitting zone longer. Eliminate casting and the barrel getting outside of your hands which commonly resulting in weak ground balls. Maintain an on-plane swing, become stronger at contact, and develop bat speed. Engineered to be used during tee work, soft toss, and batting practice, this weighted swing knob won't interfere with practice. The Hitters Handle is built with durable materials in high visibility yellow, so you never lose it in your bag. Easily attaches to the knob of most metal baseball and softball bats so you can get to work faster. Become a stronger player and say hello to more hits. The Hitters Handle is available in two weights, 8 ounces and 12 ounces for both younger and older athletes.

Really good aid. I bought the 12 and 8 oz versions. Fit son a traditional knob without issue. If you have a tapered knob like on a CatX this wont work. My son just uses a cheaper practice bat with this and not his game. Very similar to working with a camwood.

I was looking for something to help my 12 year old son keep his hands inside and reduce the barrel coming through too early and getting weak spinning or grounder contact. The most important thing is since using this over the past 3 weeks, he has hit the ball more consistently hard. He was a good hitter to start but had his slumps like everyone else. Now the majority of times he gets out its solid contact and a good defensive play, or he hits very high fly balls if under it. Many grounders now are hit so hard they get through to the outfield the majority of time. Especially if they are off the fielder (IE they have to move to the ball - it has to be almost a direct grounder to knock it down and a good play - downside to hard hit ball is if they make the good play on it - hes been doubled up a few times. But that is less common than getting a hit that would be an out if it was hit with medium velocity. The fielder would likely get to it, field it and throw him out. Now they can't get to it, or do but it just goes off their glove and into the outfield with almost no chance to throw him out.I did struggle to get it on at first. He couldn't do it. I did after a few mins really pushing and spinning the bat at the same time, and left it on his alternate non comp bat for training. He does switch back to the traditional cat 9 occasionally so I had to take it off. Putting it on after a few weeks of being on the knob was much easier. I also sprayed a little bit of WD-40 around the edge of the rubber to help it slide over the knob easier. It goes on and off now pretty easily.

I like how it adds weight to the bat but not on the end, more like how a cam bat adds weight to reinforce a better swing path. I keep this on the bat my daughter uses to hit off the tee & soft toss at home. If you need to take this on & off regularly, you'll either hate it or get really good at it. I'm still in the former group, so I try to leave it on at all times.

The weight is outstanding and it is comfortable to use, allows for swinging with loads towards the handle in an effortless fashion. Will not come off easily. The only difficulty is that it is so hard to put on that I had to make one bat a designated handle-weight bat - either my nobs are bigger than those intended for the product, there is some trick to getting it on that I don't know about, or this is just not a product for easy, daily insertion and removal.

Doesn’t interfere with the batter when swinging. Good and secure grip

Trains your hands (knob) to swing thru the ball. Helps eliminate casting due to weight is below your hands.
