I was initially a bit skeptical ordering this case, as I wasn't sure how sturdy the silicone would be. It appears sturdy and I had no issues getting it on the collar without ripping. If anything, the silocone was almost too sturdy to stretch over the large buckle on our dog's collar. This was reassuring to me, that the silocone built on collar strap would not stretch out.It fits the Tractive XL perfectly and is more compact that the previous case/carrier that I had. I don't trust the silicone strap that comes with the Tractive XL, so this is perfect for our large dog's collar.It is nice that it comes as a 2 pack, just in case our dog has a mishap with it. My only suggestion is to offer more colours. The black is what we have on our dog now and the light green is the backup. It would be great to have darker colours as options (red/blue/purple/pink).For reference, our dog is 90 pounds and 30 inches at the shoulder. She doesn't even notice the Tractive XL in this case.

I have used my Tractive device on my very active dog now for a year. The holder they supply is not that secure and I worried that it would be lost if my pup got lost!This product is Very secure 5 stars for that the main function. 5 star for being able to charge without removing case. 5 for overall look!I’m giving 4 stars though because it’s a total pain to get it on and off! So frustrating. I like to take it off when it is wet inside of the holder.

Certainly beats the original design. A bit bulky but so is the larger Tactive. It holds it well. No more velcro straps to keep from losing the Tractive in the bush when it falls off. I like this.

I needed a solution to the constantly-breaking silicone holders that came with my XL Tractive devices and I think this is the winner so far!I have 2 large Swiss Shepherd boys who love their country life and often got their devices snagged on barbed wire fences, shrubs and whatever else they get themselves into when they're playing or roughhousing with each other.The original holders stretch a bit over time and made them floppy on their collars, or the little tabs would come loose, and eventually a least 2 tabs would rip on each device.... I've replaced them 3 times already within a few months.This product is holding up nicely so far.- it's made of thick silicone- it doesn't obstruct the light on the front- it covers the button on the top (which I like because previously, my boys would manage to get it plugged with dirt), but it still allows you to press it to turn off/on/check the connection- you can peek at the serial numbers on the back when it's off the collar (I use the numbers to know which one belongs to which dog after I take them off to charge)- you can charge the devices with the holder on it- they go on fairly easy (just be patient when pushing them over the notches on the sides... they catch a little if you ram it on there)- they fit snugly to the collar- it doesn't seem to affect the accuracy of the devices- my boys seem more comfortable with them on since they're not dangling off their collars anymoreThanks so much for making these for the XL!

Only had the cover on for a week but have zero complaints as it seems strong to hold the bulky device on my puppy. Would recommend to anyone who has the Tractive XL

Bon rapport qualité/prix pour mettre sur un collier. Malheureusement je n’ai pas pu l’utiliser car mon chien a un harnais. Mais très bon pour un collier.

The pdt description says it fits the Tractive XL gps tracker - but it doesn’t. Attached is a photo of the tracker and the case I bought here. The grey casing on the tracker doesn’t come off and when trying to out the silicone sleeve on it simply doesn’t fit. Unless I’m doing something wrong- there’s no instructions from Tractive to indicate how or even IF the dark grey casing should come off the tracker. I was looking forward to this as I don’t find the collar holdersincluded with the Tractive product look that dependable. Has anyone else run into this?
