The only downfall to this is honestly that the Harness pad isn't overly wide therefore does not cover as much chest space as I would like it to.The materials and straps are incredibly strong giving me piece of mind that my little one won't slip out or that the constant tugging won't rip the fabric having her escape me.The straps that I hold onto offer me plenty of length to keep a safe distance between us but also let her discover her space a bit more.I and the safety people on the hill enjoy the bright blue that can be seen for a great distance . The metal clasps are well protected and hold tightly.A fantastic tool for the first time skiier and their parent.

We used this on the ski hill to teach a 3 year old how to ski. It straps onto a child fairly easily, like a small backpack, and works well over a thick snow jacket. The clasps are a bit small, but it survived the kid's first lesson on the hill. It doesn't really work well when the child is falling backwards, so you generally have to coach the child to bend forwards or stand more upright. I wouldn't use this as protection, but as an aid, its nice to have.
