Excellent product. This is my second time buying this headset. My first one I bought 5 years ago and the mic gave out the other day. If you can get these on Sale, awesome, but if not, they are still, absolutely, 100% worth the standard price. When you first start wearing them, they might feel they squeeze a bit much, give it a couple weeks of wearing, and they will feel perfect. Super light and comfy, can fit most head sizes. Sound is fantastic. (It is not 7.1 surround, just to be clear.) Mic is great, but it doesn't flex much, so don't go twisting it much. This headset can take 1000 drops onto hardwood floors and still works perfect. It's tough and reliable. I would recommend it to anyone gaming on console. (Hence the review) Hope this helps.

The sound quality is what you would expect from Sennheiser in that segment. Very clear, crisp, with great bass. Not studio quality but certainly far better than the "gamers" or "trendy" brands I have to use sometime. But the real MVP here is the microphone. Everybody I game or work with asks me what mike I own. They think I have a dedicated USB mike. The microphone by itself is worth the price and I will probably salvage it if the headphones ever breaks ;)On the comfort side, they suits me well and I quickly forget them; I have a small head compared to average. They are light and the padding is soft. The features works very well; I just LOVE the volume wheel. The Mic cut off when rising the arm is very useful too.Note that they are closed shell, so if it bothers you to hear yourself in your head, you might want to take an open shell model.I would buy again.

I read a bunch of reviews and ultimately decided on either the GSP 300, or the Corsair Voids (both wired). However, I ended up going with this because the build quality is better, and from a known headset maker (if that means anything. I typically just use this for calls, online classes, or gaming. So the usage could range between 30 minutes to 3 hoursA couple things I found useful to know, now that I've used this for a bit longer now:1. There is a initial break in period of about 2 weeks - 1 month (depending on your usage), where the clamp force is quite high, and it will be uncomfortable. Now that I have had this for ~ 3 months, it is pretty comfortable to use for longer periods2. It is a closed headset, and the earcups are a pleather material. Thus, you do get pretty good sound isolation from the outside, but it also gets hot after an extended wear.3. The volume dial and the "flip up" mute (with an audible "click" once it is pass a certain point) is very useful. I do wish that there was a 'on cable' mute button, instead of having to flip up the boom every time4. I saw on some reviews that people thought the boom distance to the mouth should be adjustable, but I think Sennheiser made the right choice here, because the distance means you do not accidentally start breathing into the mic, but also close enough that it works for most people5. The headset ear cups are big, but they sit differently on my head than normal headphones (a bit further back, rather than directly above the ears, if you are drawing a straight line up) YMMV, but I found comfort to be better to have the headband sit a bit back.6. Mic quality is alright, better than wireless headsets, but doesn't beat a dedicated podcast mic – but you're also not paying 100+ for a dedicated mic, so it is what it is.Overall, its a pretty solid headset, has everything you need, but nothing more

With near daily use these suckers lasted me 3 years. Amazing sound quality even ignoring the price, great comfort, and minimal wire noise. I've had headphones worth twice as much that could only match the audio quality of these headphones. The microphone wasn't amazing, but that's to be expected, all it needs to be is not bad. They are a tad bulky, I definitely wouldn't wear them outside or in transit, but they don't feel heavy. This one is easy to recommend.

The highlight of this headset is definitely the mic, its crisp and delivers a broadcast quality, above and beyond your average headset of the same price range. They are very light weight, snug, a simple but smart, sturdy build. Ear phone cups are a perfect one-size fits all. I experienced no ear or head pains after a 6 hour session of use, Just regular wear fatigue. They boast a detailed range that sennheiser is known for, but are heavy in the low MID range, so any low sub end feels left out, but not totally abandoned.Great with music and minimal sound design though the oomphy mid range becomes overwhelmed with cinematic mixes like BFV and Action Movies. Highlight being - explosions and gunfire dont come off as ear piercing - but sound clear.Overall these are a solid option for a dedicated gaming headset, delivers in function, ergonomics and general quality. The mic and headphone come as a split 3.5mm jack and comes with a single 3.5mm adapter to pug into the headphone jack of a controller.

For the price, you really can’t go wrong. Go look at comparisons and reviews of these headphones compared to others in its price range and 9 times out of 10, people say these are the best. The mic quality is fantastic, and the drivers can get VERY loud (make sure you turn the volume down before your first use!)There is a very well balanced range of highs, mids and lows. So we’ll in fact that I use them as monitors when editing videos professionally. Also, noise cancellation is purely based on the fact that they engulf your whole ear. It works so well that it is actually hard to hear yourself talk when I’m a party chat, so other people in your household might be wondering why you’re so loud! There is also no clunky adapter like other gaming headsets and it is just plug and play. The only downside I can see these having is if the cord gets damaged. The cord does not detach from the headphones themselves, so you’d have to replace the entire headset.

Expected better build quality from this brand.Pros: Sound quality is good. Mic function is OK. Volume control functions as expected. Overall comfort is decent.Cons: Connector pin need to be improved, many a times it causes issues with sound due to loose connection. Worst part is the fabric cover - the part covering the left ear was torn within a year, even after using it with due care.
