The u it would not charge right out of the box.it looked as if it was used somewhat.i tried several times to cl8harge it.No change it would not hold a charge.I tried to return it and it said no returns .I contacted amazon for assistance so amazon sent a request to the seller and the seller said they would give a return but never did within the 48 hour period.I then contacted amazon to create a a-z return and amazon refunded me the purchase price .amazon in my opinion has completly fixed this issue.

I now own approximately 10 of these. I have had one fail just recently after 3 1/2 years of being used daily. This is a fantastic product that I recommend to many people in my industry. The price point is amazing for the product. Once in a while, the little lights fall down inside. I have taken the box apart and just re-glued them and moved on because the rest of the product is so amazing.

I've had a glass mat battery on this charger for 6 months while working on the vehicle. So far, so good. It is completely automatic (read Idiot Proof) and has LEDs to show charging/maintaining status. Only downside is that it does not start up again after a power failure, just sits in the "wait" mode until you physically push the Start button. I haven't had to contact Tech Support about this unit yet.

I've had this jumper box for awhile now and you can't beat it for the price and size. It has startered tons of 3/4 ton diesel engines for me and doesn't blink an eye at any gas engine. Battery holds a charge for a very long time. I bring it camping I'm case anyone kills their battery but it's also great for powering air mattress pumps and you can bring it right in the tent.
