The battery on my motorcycle is difficult to access due to its location and items being wrapped around it. Therefore I have a "pigtail" connected to it, which can't be directly connected to jumper cables. This cable allows connection to the pigtail and then to jumper cables, allowing the bike to be jump started in event of a dead battery. It could be indispensible on a road trip when you're out in the middle of nowhere and no one can help. I keep this in my saddlebag at all times.
