Two-piece strap consisting of a webbing element with loop attachments and an elastic element joined by quick-release buckle. The elastic section provides tension; the webbing section adjusts for size, ensuring you have exactly the right length with exactly the right tension. Each section is attached independently around a luggage rack, frame tube, foot peg carrier, etc., the luggage is placed between the attachment points, the two parts of the strap are buckled together, and the strap is tightened. I hate the idea of paying $46 for 2 tiny straps, over priced but I admit they were well-designed and built well. If you are doing adventure riding, you need these. I will buy them again.

I’ve used these straps to hold down bags on a motorcycle several times. They are quick to strap bags down, they don’t scratch any body work and never get loose once you tighten them up!

Five stars for a good product... They're significantly more convenient, but way more expensive than bungees. So the question of whether you should get them depends on how much you value the ease and convenience these provide.

Used these on my adventure motorcycle for years. Now I use the smaller ones on my RV/Truck. The way they are made allows them to work in a variety of situations. Also quick to set up and remove. These are a case of you get what you pay for.
