Hood struts were simple to install and I completed the change over in 15 minutes (including 5 minutes for YouTube instruction review). Only needed a flat head screwdriver for the retaining clips.

These are garbage replacement rear hatch struts.... since installing they have popped off the joints multiple times don’t waste your money!!!!

Once the strut was released from the shipping band it wouldn’t collapse to the proper installation length. I needed to change the ball end and in order to do that the band had to come off.I leaned on it with and to wouldn't budge.Guessing it might have been for the hatch not the hood it stated it was for!!! Ordered ENGINE hood struts this time! Lol

Sooo easy to install and they hold the hatch higher than it has ever been! If you need to replace your lifts I highly recommend these. I am a78year old female who easily replaced these plus at a great price.

Works great easy to install. Be careful to support the trunk lid if using in that configuration.

Fits, Works, Sturdy -- inexpensive.Be sure you get something to hold up the door while you replace the liftgate struts - like a second person.Install can be done in 5 minutes when you know how to do. Watch a YouTube video first.Note: You need to pry out the "C" rings to remove the old struts.
