Bought these ramps for my atv and they're awesome I had them now for 3 seasons. These longer ramps make it so easy to load and unload your atv safely by yourself and when they fold they fit in the bed of my truck. Definitely recommend these ramps

First, let me state upfront I'm not using these ramps for an ATV, but for a motorcycle. I don't own an ATV, but I'd imagine that they'd be better for ATV's, but still not great. That said...I recently bought a Ford F350 4x4. It's a big, tall truck. On level ground the tailgate is about 39" above the ground. I race motorcycles- not those super light dirt bikes, but road bikes and needed a way to get ~400lbs of bike up into the bed ideally by myself at home and with another person helping out when at the track. This hasn't been a problem with a Chevy 1500 2wd with a 31" high tailgate and a 8' ramp, but I knew those extra 8" were going to make things a lot harder.Anyways, so I went looking for some longer ramps to help make loading the bike easier, except nobody makes a 10' motorcycle ramp, just ATV ramps, so I bought these thinking I'd walk up one ramp and push the bike up the other.Basically there are a few shortcomings of this ramp:1. They have quite a lot of flex in them. I'm about 175lbs and just walking up one of the ramps you can feel it bend beneath you. BlackWidow makes an 8' motorcycle ramp which is "redesigned" and "stronger" and apparently they haven't taken that design and applied it to their ATV ramp line. These ramps are rated for 1000lbs *EACH* (2000lbs total) and honestly, I wouldn't trust that.2. The rungs have very little grip. Wouldn't be too big of an issue with an ATV since you're not going to be slightly leaning it over like a bike when loading, but on a cold, icy morning (realize I live in San Jose, CA so not like it get's *that* cold) there's so much frost on the ramp that it's actually dangerous to load a motorcycle on the ramp because the tires will slide off the ramp (ask me how I know). The design of the rungs doesn't really allow for using grip tape, so I'll probably have to take a dremel or hacksaw and cut shallow groves to provide more traction. On cold icy days you may have issues with an 2wd ATV as well, I dunno.3. Since the ramps are arched, it is almost as difficult to push up these 10' ramps as it is a straight 8' ramp- I didn't really need the extra clearance that the arch provides. That being said, with the rear tires of my F350 in the gutter of my driveway and with these 10' ramps I'm just *barely* able to push my SV650 race bike up into the bed of the truck. I ended up dropping the rear end of the truck by 2" so it wouldn't take me 3 or 4 tries to load the bike at home.4. The ramps are painted and the paint chips easily. Since they're aluminum at least they won't rust, so that's good. Would be a lot more durable if they were powder coated or anodized. Also they have cheap stickers on the sides of the ramp which start pealing off in cold weather which doesn't really scream "high quality".The good is that the ramps are light enough for one person (still not "light" though) to setup and takedown and collapse short enough to store width-wise in a full sized bed so they don't take up a ton of space.Overall, I'm pretty lukewarm on these ramps... I wish I could find something nicer which meets my needs, but this was the best I can find so I'll make do.Update: I ended up taking these ramps to a local Line-X store and got them sprayed. This totally solved the issues with grip (especially in the cold) and with the paint chipping off. Of course, this dramatically increased the overall cost of the ramps, but it was worth it. Too bad Black Widow doesn't offer this kind of coating as an option.

Ramps work great...one of the best purchases I have made. Many people have commented how much they like the ramps.
