This is a good direct replacement part for the broken speaker buttons inside the ears with one error from the seller part. The buttons are wired opposite, if you put the new part in the ears as it came in the package. The volume down button will be in the big ear and vise versa. One easy way to fix this is to swap the red and blue wire at the end of the plug where it goes into the slot. This will fix the and make it correct. Take a micro flat head screw driver or a tip of a pocket knife, gently pry (do not break off) the white tab up on the connector and pull out the red wire and blue wire. Now plug the red wire back into the right terminal and the blue in the left terminal. After doing this and installing the buttons, the volume down button will be in the correct smaller ear and volume up will be in the big ear. I hope this helps, cheers.

I hoped the seller had solved the problem of shipping wires with the volume up and down button swapped incorrectly. Since this feedback started more than 18 months ago, the seller has had time to check inventory and fix things. I was wrong. These are still swapped. And the wires are fragile, so attempt to swap them at your own risk. These are not worth the hassle.

The one I received worked but the right and left ears were swapped. Still works but now the volume buttons are swapped. The shape of the PCBs makes it so they can only be installed in what should be the correct way.

The buttons work and the install went fine but when I turned it back on the small ear made the sound louder. I even checked with the old wire configuration and the wire colors were backwards. I know I didn’t switch them because the tabs on the button circuit boards fit in the slot and are labelled A/B. The old boards had the opposite orientation.
