I bought these hoping they would be easier to use than my existing rectangular cross-section corner clamps. The existing clamps work well but are fiddly to install since they easily slide on the wood being clamped while trying to hold the clamp, two pieces of material (e.g plywood) and the screw clamps. The Preciva clamps have a lip along the upper edge that I hope would make installation easier; however, the lip is too narrow and the clamps are actually harder to use since the weight of the clamp defeats the purpose of the lip (i.e. the clamp won't stay in place without being held in place). Good idea, poor design. Not worth the money. Just buy the regular square cross-section version.

This clamp has a lip on the front face which is not obvious from any of the pictures and makes it less useful for my purposes.

These Preciva 45/90 degree squares do what they're supposed to do for small frames. These are a little smaller than my other squares but that's great since I didn't have anything else for small frames.The various angles are great for options.My biggest downside for these is the high price. There are other aluminum squares out there for less money that come with 4 pieces instead of 2. If these were $15-ish I would totally approve.

This is a fantastic set! The angles are correct and the setup works really well! It is well made and sturdy. Works great for making picture frames. However, it could be used for other applications, as well.
