When I sand from a roll, its very important to be as time efficient as possible, grabbing a roll of sandpaper I expect to be able to push the edge with my DA, expose the disc, push down on the pad with my DA, give it a quick bump and the pad releases from the roll, thats the advantage of a roll. Problem is the adhesion is too much to release the disc easily from the roll so you have to do it by hand and even then it tears the next sheet from having to pull so hard. Then its very hard to release the disc from your pad, all terrible for time efficiency. they do sand as expected
