I've been fishing since the mid 70's, I've had most every type of setup from small freshwater to 8/0 Tuna and Shark rods, that being said I wanted to get back into light fishing locally (Blues, Stripped bass, Fluke, weakfish and so on max fish about 15lbs) so I went to local stores seeing what's around, after about half a day in different stores I found this combination and absolutely loved it, it's lightweight, at 9 ft it does very well in one hand (it's so lightweight) the 6000 reel really delivers a smooth seamless bail click, it's ability to retrieve lures is amazing (it will go as fast as you want without feeling like work) overall I'm super happy with this setup, I highly recommend this if you want a lightweight setup that has all the feeling of a very expensive outfit 💯💖🔥

Ive caught plenty of fish with this combo, BUT…my issue is a cosmetic issue. The biggest eyelet is not aligned with the rest of them. This combo slipped right past quality control.

For the money it's one of my favorite poles. Very durable I caught a nice tarpon on it no problem

I returned it before I could get pictures but the rod broke and shards went into my eyes which was pretty dang dangerous but I've returned this because it came used with different color rod and was lacking the reel as well
