We bought this Catio or "Cat condo" for some outdoor enjoyment for our former feral cat who loves being in the presence of birds, squirrels and chipmunks in our yard without our worry of him escaping our control.The size of the Catio is ideal, and even for our heavy boy (over 20 pounds) the side wall platforms are remarkably strong enough to support his weight.If you plan on leaving the catio in one place, like an apartment balcony, it's perfect as is.In our case, we like to move it either to sun or shade depending on conditions. During that move, we have to keep it steady as there's a lot of "flex" in the structure and if you are too quick or not careful, you can easily damage it.I have solved that problem by purchasing some 4 inch steel mending plates that I have mounted to bolster the vertical panel sections horizontally on both sides to reinforce the structure and installed two handles at each end to ease raising and moving it.Nice heavy asphalt roof helps secure it from strong winds.We are pleased with the purchase and with whatever shortcomings there have been related to sturdiness, they were easy to resolve.

J'ai déjà commandé une que j'ai bien aimé. J'en ai donc commandé une deuxième que je vais ajouter à la première pour plus d'espace pour mes chats. À noter que j'utilise cette grande cage à l'intérieur. J'ai modifié les portes pour éviter de me pencher pour y accéder. Je modifie également les compartiments pour un meilleure design. Elle est bien conçue et il y a une agréable odeur de cèdres. Mes chats l'adore, ils sont confortables. Pour l'extérieur tel que mentionné, je mettrait un bémol. Le toit au-dessus semble robuste mais la structure s'il y a trop de vent ou de pluie abondantes, ... il faudrait l'installer dans un endroit à l'abris des vents et de la pluie.

We are really happy with this catio. We're using "temporarily" until we can build a bigger one, but since who knows how long that will be, we needed something of decent quality and decent size. This catio fit both those needs, with caveats.It really could be sturdier, but we feel like it's sturdy enough to last quite some time. I'm afraid we'll need to put it away for the winter, though, because I'm not sure what kind of snow load it can handle and we're in Northern Ontario, so I doubt it's got the strength to hold up to our winters.I'm also not stoked about the usage of space in the catio. There's a lot of wasted verticle space. There would need to be some shelves on the back wall, and maybe even something hanging from the middle of the ceiling, so the cats could actually use more of the vertical space.The door is also too short for humans to enter conveniently / comfortably.On the plus side, it's really light and easy to move, so it will be easy to move in the winter. Just putting it down on it's side so snow can pile up through the fencing might just be enough.And, we think we should be able to DIY a few of our own shelves in there, when we get the time. Plus, we're going to use it as the "entrance" to our larger catio, once we get around to it.So for the price, it's actually a pretty good deal. Had it over a month now, and so far, we're really happy!

Totally doable with IKEA electronic screwdriver.I did it myself in 4hr. The roof is harder but I just leave it and put some stuff there.Finally I can be relaxed when I want to open my window widely and not worry about my cats being too curious lol.Overall, it is what I’m looking for, a cage big and strong enough to put my cats there.

We bought this for our kitty. My husband built a tunnel from the window to it where my cat can now come in and out on his own. It’s so much bigger than I pictured which is wonderful. My indoor cat is so happy. Worth every penny.
