I previously owned a 'dollar store' pedometer and liked it a lot, as far as one can given some inevitable shortcomings.Wanting to replace it I kept an eye on shops but never saw a pedometer than looked discrete, was small, had something more than just an incrementing number I had to manually zero (as the cheap one did) and so went for some time with no pedometer. Then I researched online and bought this unit after a lot of reading.Like some other reviewers found, this unit is not quite perfect, but it is very good indeed, so much so that I would rate it closer to 5 stars than 4.5.CONS: the screen shows those patterns when you happen to press it a little, like some LCD displays do, but it's never stopped me reading it and has only happened when a finger rests on the screen when pressing a button (three, side mounted). The units for some of the functions I don't really use are written in very small text, e.g. "398 cals" to show how many calories burnt. The 398 is clear and you can work out which menu you are on so once you're familiar with it, if you use those features, you don't need to break out the magnifying glass.PROS: It is small, thin, the back of the unit is a solid piece of aluminium that is thick enough to provide a very solid well made feel without being more than 3 or 4 mm thick (thickness of a typical coin). It comes with a really useful, easy to use, actually works tenaciously, quick-release lanyard (and sturdy but not bulky, clip) . It auto-resets at midnight. It shows you full history for 7 rolling days and summarized history for 999 (I think) days. The 3D sensor seems to really work well, I tested it and found it counted steps precisely. Lastly, the supplier was prompt and nice-by-email.

Initially, I loved this pedometer. It is small and discrete to wear. I wore it clipped onto my waistband everyday and found that I was really motivated to achieve my goal of a certain number of steps everyday. After 6 months of daily use, the problems began. The unit shut down and I lost my data. I assumed that the battery had died so I changed the battery to a new one (a replacement battery was included with the initial purchase). Since that time, I have to replace the battery every month to every couple of weeks. The clip broke after 6 months so I carried it in my pocket. I have some clothing that doesn't have pockets to this was really inconvenient. The unit has died again and I am fed up of losing my data and changing the battery so frequently!I will be looking into purchasing a different brand of pedometer.Summary: Loved it initially, but after 6 months, it is garbage.

Originally I loved this pedometer since it is very small and I found it quite accurate. However I lost it and ordered another one. Sadly, this one only showed half the numbers. Since I was so happy with the first, I sent this back and reordered a replacement. (Their return policy is great and they pay the postage) On my third pedometer I again had the problem of the numbers not showing properly.

I purchased two of these pedometers around Christmas. One was a gift for myself and the other for a family member. The functions are easy to set and the pedometers are very accurate. The mode button is well placed for easy access and the screen is clear and easy to read. The screen enters a power saving mode and stops displaying your steps etc., but continues to count your steps. By simply pressing the mode button, the information is displayed once again. So far, the belt clip and lanyard clip are sturdy and are holding up well, but we have only been using them for 14 days. One of the pedometers was received out of the box with a dead battery. However, Ozeri provides an extra battery in each package. Changing the battery can be a bit tricky because the battery slot can easily be pushed back in too far. When this happened, we then had to unscrew the back cover to access the battery slot and realign it. Ozeri provides a tiny screw driver in the package. So far, we are very happy with the quality and ease of use of our Ozeri 4x3 razor digital pedometers. These pedometers are extremely motivating personal tools as they truly reveal how few steps/how far we actually move, despite regularly exercising. Since being shocked at the end of the first day of using them when we saw that one of us only took 4200 steps and the other only 2900, we have been following the (at minimum) 10,000 step goal while continuing our regular exercise. We already feel, and look better. We're also more mindful of our activity level and can avoid prolonged periods of sitting because the pedometer tangibly presents how many or how few steps we have actually taken at each given minute of each day. They reset to zero at midnight.

I've had my Ozeri 4x3razor pedometer for just over a month now and I love it! It was very easy to set up initially and the fact that it has it's own little screwdriver (you could also use the ones for eyeglasses) and a spare battery in the package is an added bonus. It is thin, light and nice and compact with a good size readout. The safety stap works great as I had bumped mine and it fell off my pocket and I hadn't even realized it until I saw it hanging. Had the strap not been attached there's a good chance I would have lost it.As for their customer service, they contacted me about the purchase before the item had even shipped to thank me for my purchase and let me know that if I have any problems to contact them and they will do their best to rectify it/them. As it turned out I did have a problem as my pedometer had shipped but never arrived.. My problem was corrected with the first email, and very courteously, and a new pedometer arrived in the mail 2 days later. I can't say enough about the great service I received and believe they should train other companies on how to treat customers!!I was hesitant at first to purchase it because of the shipping cost (It comes directly from the manufacturer) but I read the reviews and I really wanted a small, thin pedometer so I decided to order it. I'm so glad I did! Thanks Ozeri!!

The Ozeri 4x3rozor Pocket 3D Pedometer and activity tracker I found worked very well for the first few days, then one morning I noticed that over night I had done 26,000 more steps, and the Pedometer was just sitting on my chest of drawers, then it just stopped, read the booklet and just couldn't make it work again so I just put it in the bin.I couldn't be bothered sending it back .

Having broken the clips on several pedometers, I was looking for something that I could put in my pocket as well and this works very nicely. when used for walking or running it appears to be just as accurate as any other similar type of pedometer and gives a pretty good estimate based on the length of step you enter on it.Positives: Its size and the fact it can be used with or without a securing clip and stores data for up to 30 days; it only really stops counting when you have done a million steps and unlike other pedometers I have owned before it works at any angle in your pocket.Observations: Setting it up is easy you just need to enter a few basic details including the length of your step. The step counter is pretty accurate for walking or running.Slight inconveniences: If you want to record just your real steps then the step counter needs to be disabled when not walking or running which is fairly straightforward; the difficulty is remembering to do it. However it is good that it has this capability. Also the screen probably needs a protector as mine is gradually showing more and more signs of wear and tear even though I don't keep coins etc. next to it .Overall I am very happy with this product.
