This is a pair of clamps to hold lengths of wood at right angles while adhesive sets and/or you nail them together. There is a lot of adjustability, and they hold varying thicknesses of wood. They are large and beefy so should last a long time. Their only disadvantage is that you have to spin the dial to open and close them, so they aren’t as fast to adjust as the plastic clamps that have a sliding, ratcheting mechanism.

I recently broke one of my small cast 90-degree clamps in my workshop, so I decided to try these stainless steel clamps. The fence on these clamps is almost an inch in height compared to the 3/8" fence on my cast clamps. This only holds the stock about 2.75" from the corner compared to the 3.25" of my cast clamps.I use corner clamps as a third hand on the bottom edge of the corner, and I use my 4" or 8" positioning squares on the top corner to better ensure a square corner.I gave this product a five-star review considering the cost, quality, product design, materials and design, as well as the squareness of the corners for this class of clamp. I am not comparing this product against plastic spring-loaded corner clamps or the much larger, heavier-duty corner clamps.

One needs 4 (Four) clamps with closed corners to effectively ‘square a box.Taking a reasonable approach one HAS to accept that the size of these clamps limit one’s use to a box with a the minimum dimensions of 7” x 7”.I build boxes smaller than this which eliminates their efficacy. BUT!!! I also build boxes larger which makes these clamps a blessing… takes continuous reckoning out of the equation.I love these cosmos for use in gluing larger wooden box stairs together. The variability of glueing/joining different thickness sides together accurately at 99 degree angles with no worries makes using them a pleasure. Each clamp allows the user to confidently join different thicknesss sides together accurately.

I don’t know why people in the reviews say these are bad because they use only one and expect it to hold both sides perfect. I really don’t think they understand you’re supposed to use both when squaring your project. I used these to make kitchen drawers. Just to hold with glue while i secured some pocket holes. They are pretty square. Pic is just two test pieces. Impressed for the price if you have small projects

I like trying to give my fellow shoppers, good advice, and to get good advice back. These are lightweight as you would assume from the price. If you’re doing a light glue up they are decent. But I would try to find something easier to use if I was going to be using regularly

Can’t get enough clamps. These are solid good quality for the price! Smaller project type clamps. Was told that they make bigger ones?!?
