Don’t waste your money. This is a cheap gun that does not work properly.

Works great. I think some of the reviewers didn’t set it for the right length of screw. I just did 140 sheets with it and it’s as good as my older Hilti corded one.

I had to wait a bit for an upcoming peoject to finally get off the ground and now that it has, I must say that thia gun performed much better than I expected. Right from the start, this gun is made to emulated a Makita brand of power tool but I had no expectations of it to perform like a Makita. Chinese "knock off" products are very "hit and miss" so my expectations are always tempered. So my project was the finishing of an outdoor shed for which I used this gun to fix frame, moldings, trim and gyproc on the inside. As a first time user of such a tool, I was impressed at how I got the feel for it, so quickly. The learning curve has been quite shallow. The gun itself, is a little heavy and definitely requires the use of both hands to maneuver it adeptly but it is comfortable to work with. The loading of the screw strips has proven to be easy and it gets even easier after a few strips. I fed just a little under 300 screws and I only hand a single screw feed poorly. Otherwise, the screws fed and sank with consistency and there is no question that when you are dealing with a large number of screws, this gun is extremely efficient and quick, compared to working without a feeder system. Performance and results were impressive both with wood and gyproc. The kit comes with a battery and it has performed very well, akin to an OEM Makita but not quite there in terms of longevity. If you are already invested in the Makita ecosystem, the OEM batteries mount perfectly. I was able to run my entire series on the single proprietary battery that came with the kit.In terms of overall build quality and craftsmanship, there is no comparing this to an actual Makita tool but there is also no comparison in price. If you are a casual DIYer, I believe this to be a great buy. If you are a professional, you would not even consider a cheap knock off tool. Please note that this tool can be easily broken down to a single stage "drill" or "driver", should you not have need for the auto feeder function. This is an easy DIYer recommendation

I'm not a pro, so my usage has been weekend drywalling a room. It certain made easy work of securing ceiling drywall. No fiddling around with screws in your pouch and then dropping them etc. It is light and counter-sinks the screw heads well. I have only used #6-1.25" screws with .5" drywall into wood studs. Pretty simple to use. I tried a Makita and off-brand battery pack in it and it worked fine. Again for a weekend DIYer, the price and the value of saving my wife's back from breaking while she holds up the ceiling drywall for me, it is a bargain!

This is a "Makita compatible" drywall screw gun. It can use Makita batteries. Even the colour scheme is Makita. Now for what you get with this kit, you'd be spending a heck of a lot more money to get a dedicated Makita unit, and that wouldn't even include a battery. You couldn't even get a manual Makita screw gun (no auto-feed) without a battery for the price of this entire kit -- with a case and charger! The included battery claims to be 2.0 A/h, but with most of these Chinese products, who knows. If you already own Makita 18V cordless tools, that won't be an issue for you, as you'll have some proper batteries. But the included battery does work so far. Also comes with a charger. The autofeeder attachment is a real bonus. It's a little crude, but it looks like it will work fine, though I haven't tested it. I'll go out on a limb and say this autofeeder and the manual feed nose-piece are compatible with the OEM Makita ones, but I don't have an OEM unit handy to compare it with. The case is a little on the cheap side, but not terrible. I think this tool is perfect for a serious DIY person, maybe not so much for a professional.Overall, this is good value for the money if you need something on a budget.

Doesn't work at all. Only drives 50% deep on the deepest level and skips pasts screws, wasting a bunch.

This is one tool I have been wanting to try for a while. So far I have used it for a privacy fence in my backyard. The screw gun is easy to load and easy to use. I love how quickly I was able to go from board to board. The screw gun has plenty of power and did a great job on my project.
