It's sort of okay but the thumbscrew is a bit skimpy. I'd have preferred the tightening device to be like the other two rods.

Only good for light work. I tried to tighten against metal and the thread stripped. Use only with wood and do not tighten too hard.

These clamps are hefty and sturdy. I was worried about the middle clamp not gettingenough pressure, but realized you don't want to put so much pressure on the trim that you will crack it. Finger tight is perfect. Glad I purchased 3 of them.
